Outline

The purpose of the Award is to support students undertaking an Honours year at the UNSW School of Civil and Environmental Engineering who demonstrate an interest in water resources and the environment.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders), or a New Zealand Citizen
  • Be currently enrolled full-time undergraduate study (single or double) in one of the following degree programs:
    • Civil Engineering
    • Environmental Engineering
  • Be undertaking an Honours year

Selection
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:
  • Academic merit
  • Leadership skills (school, workplace or community)
  • Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
  • Aptitude and commitment to studies in an area of water resources and the environment within the UNSW School of Civil and Environmental Engineering
