UNSW Equity Scholarships

UNSW’s 2025 Strategy aims to provide ongoing support to students from disadvantaged and under-represented groups, Indigenous students and students from low socio-economic backgrounds.

UNSW offers a wide range of Equity Scholarships, Awards and Grants to assist students to undertake full-time study for the duration of their degree program.

2024 Equity Scholarships

How to Apply

Educational Access Scheme (EAS)

Students who apply for the 2023-2024 Educational Access Scheme (EAS) and are commencing studies at UNSW will automatically be considered for Equity Scholarships. For more information about EAS, please refer to www.uac.edu.au/eas

UAC Equity Scholarships (ES)

Students who have applied for admission to UNSW (including via other approved UNSW pathway programs) or are currently enrolled at UNSW can be considered by submitting an Equity Scholarship (ES) application to UAC: www.uac.edu.au/equity

Offers

UNSW participates in multiple Equity Scholarship (ES) offer rounds throughout the 2023-2024 admissions period. Students who have submitted an ES application via UAC and are successful will receive a notification from UAC and an official offer letter from UNSW Scholarships (note: UNSW may also make scholarship offers direcly to successful applicants).

A limited number of Equity Scholarships are available for T2 and T3, 2023. To be considered, please submit an application via UAC Equity Scholarships.

UNSW will be participating in the following Equity Scholarship (ES) Offer Rounds for students commencing study at UNSW in Term 1, 2024:

  • December Round 2: Apply by 11.59 pm Friday, 8 December 2023
  • January Round 1: Apply by 11.59 pm Friday, 29 December 2023
