Outline

The Roy and Lois Tirrell Award aims to encourage students to undertake study in Molecular and Cell Biology at UNSW.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Have completed (at a minimum), stage 1 of their degree; and
  • Be commencing stage 2 or 3 of an eligible Science Program at UNSW; and
  • Be undertaking a major in Molecular and Cell Biology (BIOCM13925) in a Science degree program (3970, 3972/3962, 3987, 3966, 3925). Dual degree programs are excluded.

Preference may be given to Indigenous students, or students from rural or isolated areas of Australia.

Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic merit
  • Reasons for undertaking a major in Molecular and Cell Biology.
