Outline
The purpose of the Award is to support students undertaking an undergraduate degree in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at UNSW.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must:
  • Be enrolled in their third year or above of a Bachelor of Engineering (Materials Science & Engineering) or one of the following dual programs:
    • BE (Materials Science and Engineering Honours / B Eng Sci (Chemical Engineering (3132)
    • BE (Materials Science and Engineering Honours) / Biomedical Engineering (3133)
    • BE (Materials Science and Engineering / B Commerce (3134)
Selection
Applicants will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate:
  • Academic Merit
  • Leadership skills (school, workplace or community)
  • Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
  • Aptitude and commitment to studies in an area of Materials Science and Engineering
