Outline
The UNSW Business School International High Achievers Scholarship scheme is established to attract high performing students, who are undertaking a nominated articulation pathway from a partner institution in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, to UNSW Business School.- $10,000 stipend
- Networking opportunity with other scholarship winners
- Networking opportunities with students studying at UNSW from Partner Institutions.
Eligibility
To be considered for the scholarship, candidates must:- Be an international student
- Be commencing in a UNSW Business School degree program; and
- Be undertaking one of the nominated undergraduate or masters articulation pathways from a pathway partner institution in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, prior to commencing study at UNSW;
- Have achieved academic excellence in the relevant program of study at the pathway partner institutions in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
- Not have previously undertaken any other tertiary studies prior to commencing study at UNSW.
- The recipient must be commencing full-time undergraduate or postgraduate coursework study in one of the following single or dual programs offered by UNSW Business School:
- Bachelor of Commerce (3502)
- Bachelor of Commerce (International) (3558)
- Bachelor of Economics (3543)
- Bachelor of Information Systems (3979)
- Bachelor of Actuarial Studies (3586)
- Bachelor of Actuarial Studies / Bachelor of Commerce (3155)
- Bachelor of Actuarial Studies / Bachelor of Economics (3588)
- Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Economics (3521)
- Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Information Systems (3584)
- Master of Commerce (8404)
Dual Degrees: Consideration may be given for undergraduate dual degrees in combination with another Faculty (e.g. Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Arts (3573)).
Selection
Each applicant will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate:
- Applicants must have achieved academic excellence in the relevant program of study at the pathway partner institutions in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
- Applicants may also be assessed on the following criteria:
- Reasons for undertaking a business degree at UNSW
- Participation in extra-curricular activities
- Interests and career aspirations
- Work experience (if any)
Interviews
Interviews are not required for this Scholarship.
