Welcome to the UNSW Scholarships Website
Thank you for visiting the UNSW Scholarships website. The site has been structured so that you can search for scholarships by Faculty and by category, including rural, women and financial need - so have a look around.
The search function is a very useful feature of the site which allows you to search the site for specific keywords. For example, if you were searching for scholarships in surveying, you would simply enter "surveying" in the search field at the top right hand corner of any page on the UNSW Scholarships website.
There is a lot planned for the new website as we want to make it as useful and informative as we can - so it will be evolving over the coming months. Your feedback is important, so let us know your comments and ideas at scholarships@unsw.edu.au.

Scholarship Application Opening and Closing Dates
Please note that scholarships with closing dates late in the year (for example September 30 and November 30) are generally awarded in the following year. For example, a scholarship with a closing date of September 30, 2007 will be awarded in 2008.
Scholarships with closing dates early in the year (for example January 31 or February 28) are generally awarded in that same year. For example, a scholarship with a closing date of February 28, 2008 will be awarded in 2008.
Any exceptions to this will be specifically noted in the scholarship details.
All the best!
Important Information for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Coursework Scholarship Applicants
For those students who have not heard about the status of their application and would like to determine if the scholarship has been awarded please check our list of scholarships. This list will be updated each Friday. Where the status of a scholarship is "Awarded", the scholarship has been formally accepted. Where the status of a scholarship is "In Progress", it means that the selection process is still to be completed and the scholarship has not yet been awarded. Where the status of a scholarship is "Not Awarded", it means that the Selection Committee has decided not to award the scholarship this year. Due to large number of scholarships managed by the UNSW Scholarships Office we are unfortunately unable to respond to direct enquiries relating to the status of scholarship processes. We would request that you refer to the listing on our website to determine if the scholarship/s you have applied for have been awarded or not. We also recommend that you take some time to review the general terms and conditions which apply to our undergraduate and postgraduate coursework scholarships.
