T2 Return to Campus Award

T2 Return to Campus Award - International students commencing in Term 2 2023 receive a once-off award towards your tuition fees.

To help you transition back to life on campus, we are extending financial support with a once-off award to eligible students who study with us on campus in Term 2, 2023.

Commencing international undergraduate students will receive a once-off $15,000 award and commencing international postgraduate students a once-off $10,000 award towards your tuition fees.

This award is available for students from eligible countries/ regions and degrees who commence their studies in Term 2 2023. You can also combine this award with other UNSW scholarships (excluding full tuition fee waiver scholarships and the International Student Award). 

No application required; your eligibility will be determined by your Term 2 2023 admission application to UNSW.

Who is eligible for the T2 Return to Campus Award and what do you receive?

To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be an International Student; and
  • Be a citizen of an eligible country/ region. Citizens of International Student Award eligible countries are not permitted to hold this Award; and
  • Be commencing full-time study as a new student on campus in a UNSW Undergraduate or Postgraduate coursework program (excluding programs Master of Laws (9201), Bachelor of Computer Science (3778), Graduate Certificate in Computing (7543), Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (5543), Master of Information Technology (8543), programs offered by AGSM, UNSW Online, UNSW Canberra, UNSW Foundation Programs, UNSW Diploma, Transition Program Online, any program taught in the Hexamester calendar or Study Abroad students); and 
  • Must have applied and received an offer of admission* into a UNSW undergraduate or postgraduate degree program in Term 2, 2023; and
  • Must not be a current student of UNSW (exceptions made for those who have completed an undergraduate program at UNSW and are commencing a postgraduate program)
*Open to students commencing their studies at UNSW in Term 2, 2023 only. 
*This scholarship cannot be deferred.
How do I apply?

You do not need to apply separately for the award. Simply accept your UNSW offer and enrol in your desired courses before 21 May 2023, to study with us on campus from Term 2 2023 in order to be considered for the award.

How will I be assessed?

Each applicant will be assessed based on their admission application to UNSW.

How will I be notified?

We know that time is of the essence and that you want to make arrangements to come to Sydney. That's why you will receive your award confirmation via email by mid-April.

If you have already accepted your offer and enrolled to study with us in Term 2 2023, you are automatically considered for this Award; no further action is needed.

How is the award paid?

The value of the scholarship is directly contributed toward tuition fees in Term 2 2023, subject to meeting the enrolment requirements of the T2 Return to Campus Award.

Students eligible for the T2 award will receive the payment after the Term 2 census date and no later than 30 June 2023. The payment will be applied to the student’s account and will reduce their tuition fee liability for that term.

If the full value of the Award is not used in Term 2, the remaining award entitlement will be applied to the tuition fees in Term 3.
