Outline

The NSWMC Newcastle Mining Engineering Transfer Program supports students who have successfully completed the two-year Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Transfer Program) at the University of Newcastle and who will be enrolling in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Mining) at UNSW in Term 1 2022.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian) visa holder, or New Zealand Citizen; and
  • Have completed two years (160 UoC) of the University of Newcastle Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Transfer Program); and
  • Be commencing the third year of undergraduate study (single or double degree) in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Mining) at UNSW.

Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic merit
  • Aptitude and commitment to studies in Mining Engineering

Interviews
Interviews are not required.
