Outline

This scholarship has been established to support first year students of high potential to undertake a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) program at UNSW.

This scholarship will also consider applications from current UNSW Bachelor of Engineering students in their first year who wish to transfer over to Mining Engineering, either in the single or dual degree programs.

Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must:
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Australian permanent resident
  • Be in their first year of study in a UNSW Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) degree program or in a dual* degree in combination with the Bachelor of Engineering (Mining). Or the following applicants can be considered:
  • Applications from high achieving students currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering program at UNSW other than the Bachelor of Engineering(Mining) and seeking to undertake Mining Engineering in their second year or will be undertaking a dual* award program in Mining Engineering, including the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons)/Bachelor of Engineering Science (Mining) are encouraged to apply.

    *Dual Degrees: In a dual degree in combination with the Bachelor of Mining Engineering but the tenure of the scholarship will remain at a maximum of four years.
