Outline
The UNSW All-Rounder Scholarship is open to recent high school leavers commencing an undergraduate coursework degree program in Term 1, 2027, who have displayed exceptional academic, leadership and community engagement achievements to make a positive contribution to UNSW.
There are also a number of scholarship opportunities available that may be relevant to the program you wish to study at UNSW. Please search the UNSW Scholarships website for your relevant Faculty and/or program to find other scholarships you may be considered for.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders) or New Zealand Citizen
- Have applied for and be commencing full-time study in an eligible UNSW undergraduate degree program in Term 1, 2027, through UAC or another approved UNSW admissions scheme
- Must achieve an ATAR score of 95 or above in an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (or an equivalent assessable international senior secondary qualification)
You must provide evidence supporting the above criteria in your online application. Please refer to the Scholarship Application Supporting Documents for a detailed list of examples.
Unanswered application questions or claims without supporting documentation will not be assessed. Late applications/supporting documentation will not be accepted. Activities and achievements recorded more than 3 years ago will not be considered in your application assessment.
Applications close 11:59PM AEST, 30 September 2026.
The Scholarships Office encourages applicants to submit their applications in advance of the closing time where possible.
UNSW reserves the right not to award a scholarship, where there is no applicant of sufficient merit, or if the applicant does not meet the scholarship eligibility and/or selection criteria.
Selection
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:- School and community leadership roles;
- Commitment to extra-curricular activities (such as music, sport, debating, leadership programs, community and volunteer work etc);
- Academic merit and interest in fields of study offered at UNSW;
- Potential to make a positive contribution university life.
