Outline

The Malcolm Cole Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Performing Arts Scholarship was established to encourage and support Indigenous Australian's to undertake study at the UNSW Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences particularly within the performing arts in the School of Arts & Media.

Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must:
  • Be an Indigenous student of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and be accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in the community in which he/she lives
  • Be commencing a full-time undergraduate program (single or dual degree) at the UNSW Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in the School of Arts and Media.

Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic merit
  • Reasons for undertaking proposed program of study
  • Potential to contribute to UNSW and the wider Indigenous community
  • Preference may be given to students enrolled in the performing arts at the School of Arts and Media.
