Outline
The Mitsubishi Rural Scholarship in Mining aims to assist rural students who will be commencing full-time study in the UNSW Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering.
Eligibility
Application Process

Selection
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:
- Academic merit (estimated ATAR of 92)
- Good academic ability in mathematics, English and science
- Aptitude and commitment to studies in mining engineering
- Personal qualities (for example involvement and achievement in school and community activities, strong leadership and communication skills)
- Preference may be given applicants in receipt of means-tested Centrelink Benefits, such as ABSTUDY, Youth Allowance, or Austudy.
Industrial Training
Whilst industrial training with Mitsubishi cannot be guaranteed, the successful recipient will be strongly encouraged to apply should an opportunity become available.
Interviews
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview.
