Outline
This scholarship is for indigenous students commencing full-time undergraduate study in the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW Sydney.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be an Indigenous Australian (Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander only); and
- Must have received an offer of admission to UNSW through the UNSW Indigenous Admissions Scheme
- Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB, either:
- In the year prior to commencing study at UNSW, or
- In the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period.
- Be commencing full-time undergraduate study (single or dual) in the Faculty of Engineering.
Selection
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:
- Academic merit
- Leadership skills(school, workplace or community)
- Extra-curricular activities(sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
- Aptitude and commitment to studies in Engineering
Interviews
Interviews are not required for this Scholarship
