Outline

The purpose of the Award is to support high-achieving students in Chemical Engineering.

No application required

You do not need to submit an application to be considered for the below awards.

Scholarship Value and Duration Program Eligibility
Harold Tindale Scholarship (UGCA1659)

$7,000 for one year
  • Be continuing full-time undergraduate coursework study in one of the following specialisations:

    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (3707) - Chemical Engineering stream - CEICAH or

    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (3707) - Chemical Product Engineering stream - CEICDH

  • As at 1 January 2026, students must have completed

    • 120 Units of Credit (UoC) or more

    • At least 12 UoC of Level 3 courses

    Enrolment in a double degree in combination with one of the above degrees is also permissible, but the tenure of the Award will remain at a maximum of 1 year.

Selection Criteria

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic Merit

UNSW reserves the right not to award a scholarship, where there is no applicant of sufficient merit, or if the applicant does not meet the scholarship eligibility and/or selection criteria.
