The purpose of this application is for applicants to be potentially considered for multiple Arts, Design & Architecture Honours Scholarships, depending on individual scholarship criteria.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria Selection Criteria
UGCA1633 Fred Katz Award
    $5,000 for 1 year

  • Be commencing full-time undergraduate honours study in Philosophy
  • Must be a Domestic Australian Citizen (including Humanitarian Visa Holders), Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen

  • Academic Merit
  • Aptitude and commitment to studies in Philosophy

UGCA1216 Peggy Bamford Award

    $5,000 for 1 year

  • Be commencing full-time Honours study in social sciences
  • Academic Merit
  • Aptitude and commitment to studies in social sciences.

UGCA1635 Lucy Aspinall Photography Award

    $5,000 for 1 year

  • Be commencing full-time Honours study in Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours)
  • Be commencing an Honours program with a focus on photographic and/or moving image art practice
  • Academic Merit
  • Aptitude and commitment to studies and practice in photographic and/or moving image art practice

PUCA1036 Women in Construction Honours Award

    $10,000 for 1 year

  • Be commencing in Bachelor of Construction Management and Property (Honours)
  • Be female
  • Academic Merit
  • Leadership skills (school, workplace or community)
  • Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
  • Aptitude and commitment to studies in construction management
UGCE1209 Easson Geha Award in Planning
    $5,000 for 1 year

  • Be undertaking the honours component in the Bachelor of City Planning (Honours)(single or dual program)
  • Must be a Domestic Australian Citizen (including Humanitarian Visa Holders), Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen

  • Academic Merit
  • Leadership skills (school, workplace or community)
  • Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
  • Aptitude and commitment to studies in field area

UGCA1063 Elias Duek-Cohen Civic Design Award

    $5,000 for 1 year

  • Be commencing full-time Honours study in the Faculty of Built Environment with a focus on making towns and cities more beautiful and workable.

    Possible topics include:

    • Community layouts
    • Landscape projects
    • Urban developments on urban transport
    • Design quality in community layouts landscape projects or urban developments
    • One or more individual buildings in their urban context
    • Urban transport, including facilities for pedestrians and bicycles
    • Government or community activities and policies
    • Imaginative future concepts and historical studies
  • Academic Merit
  • Aptitude and commitment to Honours project with a focus on making towns and cities more beautiful and workable.

UGCA1632 Emeritus Professor William Gordon Rimmer Award

$5,000 for 1 year

  • Be commencing Honours in History
  • Must be a Domestic Australian Citizen (including Humanitarian Visa Holders), Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic Merit

Unanswered application questions or claims without supporting documentation will not be assessed. Late applications/supporting documentation will not be accepted. Activities and achievements recorded more than 3 year ago will not be considered in your application assessment.
