Outline

The Emeritus Professor Richard Henry AM & the late Dr Rachel Oberon Indigenous Advantage Graduate Certificate Scholarship encourages Indigenous students to undertake a Graduate Certificate within the UNSW Centre of Social Impact or Australian Graduate School of Management, with preference given to students undertaking the CSI Graduate Certificate in Social Impact. This scholarship will be paid directly towards tuition fees.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
  • Be an Indigenous Australian (Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander only)
  • Be commencing postgraduate coursework study in a Graduate Certificate within UNSW Centre for Social Impact or the Australian Graduate School of Management.

Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:
  • Academic Merit
  • Leadership skills (school, workplace, or community)
  • Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
  • Aptitude and commitment to supporting, developing and contributing to better social outcomes in the business, public and/or social purpose sectors

UNSW reserves the right not to award a scholarship, where there is no applicant of sufficient merit, or if the applicant does not meet the scholarship eligibility and/or selection criteria.
