Outline

The purpose of the Scholarship is to support undergraduate students and to alleviate financial burdens for students in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, and Computer Science.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in one of the following degree programs and stage of studies:

  • 2nd or 3rd Year in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering in the following areas:
    • Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering
  • 2nd or 3rd Year in the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications in the following areas:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Telecommunications
  • 2nd or 3rd in the Year School of Computer Science and Engineering in the following areas:
    • Computer Science
    • Software Engineering
  • 3rd Year in Industrial Design
  • Selection

    Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

    • Academic Merit WAM 75
    • Leadership skills (school, workplace, or community)
    • Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
    • Aptitude and commitment to studies in the area of the specific scholarship
    Interviews

    Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview.

    Unanswered application questions or claims without supporting documentation will not be assessed. Late applications/supporting documentation will not be accepted. Activities/Achievements recorded more than 3 years ago will not be considered in your application assessment
