Outline

The UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture Undergraduate Scholarships were established to enhance the opportunities of students to enrol in an undergraduate program of study within the UNSW Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture.

Application Required

You must submit an application to be considered for the following scholarships. More scholarships may be added to this list progressively.


Scholarship Value and Duration Eligibility
Walter & Gillian Bunning Endowed Scholarship (UGCA1613)

$5,000 per annum for the duration of program


  • Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders) or New Zealand Citizen

  • Be commencing full-time undergraduate study in one of the following disciplines:
    • Bachelor of City Planning (Honours)
    • Bachelor of Architectural Studies
    .

Selection Criteria

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:
  • Academic Merit
  • Leadership skills (school, workplace or community)
  • Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
  • Aptitude and commitment to studies

Scholarship Value and Duration Eligibility & Selection
UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture Academic Achievement Award (UGCA1813)

$5,000 per annum for 1 year

Eligibility:
  • Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB, either:
    • in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW, or
    • in the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period; and
  • Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders)
  • Be commencing any UNSW undergraduate coursework degree program within the Faculty of Arts, Architecture & Design. Double degrees are permitted so long as both degrees are owned by the Faculty of Arts, Architecture & Design
  • or New Zealand Citizen

Selection:

  • Scholarships will be automatically awarded to students on Academic Merit.
Women in Construction Undergraduate Scholarship (UGCA1652) & Women in Construction Undergraduate Award (UGCA1653)

$10,000 for duration of program/$5,000 per annum for 1 year
