Prince's Trust Australia will award two scholarships to Australian students to attend the Prince's Foundation Summer School in the United Kingdom. Students will learn about the sustainable practice of traditional architecture, building and heritage trades and how these can be applied in the built environment today.

The scholarship is valued at $7,200. More information can be found at the following website
  • What students will learn: Traditional architecture and building skills including architectural drawing, timber framing, stonemasonry, earth building, blacksmithing and more. The course will consist of lectures, site visits and practical workshops culminating in an intensive design and build exercise.
  • Location: The Prince's Foundation headquarters, Dumfries House, Scotland, United Kingdom.
  • Dates: The programme will run for three weeks from the 9th of July - 28th of July 2023.
  • Requirements: Must be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident. There are no entry requirements for this course. The course will particularly benefit architecture and built environment students with an interest in traditional architecture and heritage building. The scholarship covers all tuition and accommodation fees.
