UNSW International Student Award has been established to support high-achieving International students from financially disadvantaged countries to study at UNSW.

Additional Criteria
- Open to students commencing their studies at UNSW in Term 1, 2022
- ^Open to students commencing studies online in a program that is usually offered on campus
- This scholarship cannot be deferred
- Offers of admission must be one of the following:
- Diploma, Undergraduate or Postgraduate Letter of Offer (unconditional)
- Postgraduate Conditional English Package Offer (UEEC) - students must be enrolled in the UNSW Institute of Languages and successfully complete the program prior to commencing
Note: Students who have completed a UNSW Global Diploma Program prior to commencing an undergraduate program are not eligible for this Award.
Selection
To apply for the UNSW International Student Award applicants must submit a personal statement of no more than 500 words outlining their reasons to study the proposed program at UNSW. This should be submitted with the UNSW Admissions Application or via myUNSW. Each applicant will be assessed based on their UNSW Admissions Application. You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate:
- Academic Merit
- Aptitude and commitment to studies

UNSW reserves the right not to award a scholarship where there is no applicant of sufficient merit, or if the applicant does not meet the scholarship eligibility and/ or selection criteria.
