Outline
The Bill Pardy University Challenge Award is established to recognise Bill Pardy's achievement in winning the 1998 University Challenge on the television program Sale of the Century, and to encourage students to participate in and contribute to the cultural life of the University.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the award applicants must have completed at least one year of full-time study in an undergraduate degree at UNSW.
Selection
- Applicants will be assessed on the basis of a personal statement detailing their previous and proposed contribution to the cultural life of the University.
- Consideration may also be given to academic merit.
- Recipients shall not concurrently hold any other Scholarship or Award (except for Youth Allowance/ Austudy) except with the permission of the UNSW Selection Committee.
