Outline
The UNSW Science Achiever Award aims to encourage exceptional students to undertake a UNSW Science undergraduate degree program.
The Science Achiever Award cannot be held in conjunction with the Scientia Scholarship UGCA1137, Faculty of Science Scholarship UGCA1106 or the Women in Science Scholarship UGCA1599.
Application Process
You do not need to submit a Scholarship application to be considered for this Scholarship. However, applicants must submit a UAC Undergraduate Admission application and have received an offer of admission to an eligible program between 21 December 2017 - 15 February 2018.
Eligible candidates will be identified through their UAC application.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB either:
- in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW, OR
- in the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period
- Be commencing full-time study in an undergraduate UNSW Science program (single or dual degree)
- Be receiving an offer to a UNSW eligible degree program via UAC between 21 December 2017 - 15 February 2018
Selection
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:
- Academic Merit It is expected applicants will have received a minimum ATAR of 99 (excluding bonus points).
Interviews
Interviews are not required for this Scholarship.
