Outline

The Business School Merit Scholarships aim to encourage students to undertake undergraduate study in the UNSW Business School in Term 1, 2020.

By applying for the Business School Merit Scholarships you may be considered for multiple scholarships. More scholarships may be progressively added to this list.

Pamela JA Wallis Women in Business Scholarship (UGCA1609)

  • Value: $5,000 per annum
  • Duration: Minimum duration of program
  • Number available: One

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB, either:
    • in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW, or
    • in the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period; and

  • Be female, or identify as female; and

  • Be commencing full-time undergraduate study in one of the following Business School disciplines (single or dual):
    • Bachelor of Information Systems
    • Bachelor of Actuarial Studies

Selection Criteria

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic Merit
  • Leadership skills (school, workplace or community)
  • Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
  • Aptitude and commitment to studies in an area of Information Systems or Actuarial Studies

Goldman Sachs Women in Business Scholarship (UGCA1610)

  • Value: $6,000 per annum
  • Duration: Minimum duration of program
  • Number available: One

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB, either:
    • in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW, or
    • in the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period; and

  • Be female, or identify as female; and

  • Be commencing full-time undergraduate study an undergraduate degree program (single or dual) offered by the UNSW Business School
