Please note this scholarship is for students going on exchange in T3/2019.
The Awards have been established to encourage students from low socioeconomic backgrounds to participate in the UNSW Exchange Program.
Application Process
Applicants must submit a UAC Undergraduate Equity Scholarship application by Wednesday 19 June 2019.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled in any UNSW coursework program; and
- Be selected to undertake a UNSW Exchange Program; and
- Be accepted by a UNSW Exchange Partner Institution; and
- Must demonstrate at least one educational disadvantage through an application to the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) Equity Scholarships Scheme.
Selection
Candidates will be considered on the basis of their UAC Equity online application.
Each applicant will be assessed on their eligibility to demonstrate one or more of the following criteria:
- Financial Hardship
- Carer Responsibilities
- Sole Parent Responsibilities
- Indigenous Australian
- Long-term medical condition/disability or ongoing effects of abuse
- Refugee status
- Regional or remote disadvantage
Interviews
Shortlisted applicants are not required to attend an interview
