Outline

The scholarship is valued at $6000 per year for the duration of a Bachelor of Medical Studies / Doctor of Medicine to a maximum of six years.

One scholarship will be offered for students commencing in 2017.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

Demonstrate financial hardship
Have undertaken an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate, (i.e. the HSC) or equivalent in 2016.

Selection

Each applicant will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate financial hardship. Applicants are required to submit a 5oo word statement on their commitment to Indigenous Health and their interest in pursuing a career in medicine in their application form.

How to Apply

To be considered for this Scholarship, applicants must have previously completed Part 1 of the application process thru UAC in 2016.
