Outline

The School of Mathematics and Statistics Indigenous Scholarship aims to encourage and support Indigenous Australian students to undertake study in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at UNSW.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be an Australian Indigenous student who is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, and identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
  • Proposing to or currently enrolled in their 1st year of a full-time in a Bachelor of Science (single or dual) majoring in Mathematics or Statistics .

  • Selection

    Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic merit
  • Reasons for undertaking the proposed program of study
  • Interviews
    Interviews are not required for this scholarship.
