Outline
The Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships Program improves access to and completion of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) tertiary education courses, including in the fields of health and agricultural science. The Scholarships are aimed at prospective students from regional and remote areas of Australia considering undertaking a STEM, health or agriculture course. Scholarships are valued at up to $18,000 and are available to students undertaking courses from Certificate IV to PhD level through any mode of study (on campus, online or distance education). Recipients will be selected on the basis of financial need and merit, with priority given to women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Applications for the Semester 1, 2019 scholarship round opened on Friday, 28 September 2018 and close Friday 14 December 2018.
