Outline
To encourage local students who have experienced educational disadvantage to undertake full-time undergraduate study at UNSW.
Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be an Australian Citizen and Permanent Resident
  • Be commencing a UNSW undergraduate coursework degree; and
  • Must demonstrate at least one educational disadvantage through an application to the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) Educational Access Scheme (EAS)

Applicants must submit a UAC Educational Access Scheme application by Wednesday, 3 January 2018 to be considered in January Round 1.

Selection

Candidates will be considered on the basis of their Educational Access Scheme application to UAC (University Admissions Centre).

Each will be assessed on their eligibility to demonstrate one or more of the following criteria:

  • Indigenous Australian
  • Disrupted Schooling
  • Home environment and responsibilities
  • Personal illness/disabilities
  • Refugee status
  • School Environment

Interviews
Interviews are not required for this Scholarship.
