Faculty of Science Scholarship (UGCA1106) & Women in Science Scholarship (UGCA1599)
- $5,000 per annum for the normal minimum duration of program
The Faculty of Science Scholarship (UGCA1106) and Women in Science Scholarships (UGCA1599) aim to encourage exceptional students to undertake study in disciplines within the Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Advanced Science and Bachelor of Advanced Mathematics single degree programs.
Science Achiever Award (UGCA1358)
- $6,000 per annum for 1 year
The Science Achiever Award (UGCA1358) has been established to encourage academically gifted students interested in Science to pursue tertiary study in the faculty.
Faculty of Science Scholarship (UGCA1106) and Women in Science Scholarship (UGCA1599)
To be eligible for the Faculty of Science Scholarship and Women in Science Scholarships, applicants must:
- Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW
- Have achieved a minimum ATAR of 98.5
- Be commencing first year full-time study in one of the below eligible programs*:
- Bachelor of Science - 3970
- Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) - 3962
- Bachelor of Advanced Mathematics (Honours) - 3956
Science Achiever Award (UGCA1358)
To be eligible for the UNSW Science Achiever Award, applicants must:
- Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW
- Have achieved an ATAR of 99.85.
- Be commencing full-time undergraduate study in Stage 1 of any science (single or dual) degree in the Faculty of Science.
- Academic Merit
These scholarships cannot be held concurrently with the Scientia Scholarship. These scholarships cannot be deferred and no gap year is permitted.
You do not need to submit a Scholarship application to be considered for these scholarships. However, applicants must submit a UAC Undergraduate Admission application and have received an offer of admission to an eligible program in December Round 2.
Eligible candidates will be identified through their UAC application.
