Outline
The Kensington Colleges Residential Scholarships aims to encourage students to undertake study at UNSW and reside at one of the Kensington Colleges.
By applying for the Kensington Colleges Residential Scholarships you will also be considered for the following scholarships (Please refer to the individual advertisements for complete details):
- Daniel and Helen Gauchat Residential Scholarship for Rural Medical Students (UGCE1198)
- Value: $8,000 per annum
- Duration: 1 year
- David Nunan Residential Rural Scholarships (UGCE1199)
- Value: $8,000 per annum
- Duration: Up to 2 years
Eligibility
To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must:
- Be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
- Be commencing full-time undergraduate study at UNSW
- Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB, either:
- in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW, or
- in the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period.

Selection
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:
- Academic Merit
- Enrollment into the relevant Program, if required
- Rurality
