The School of Materials Science & Engineering Entry Awards & Scholarships aim to encourage students to undertake study in the Bachelor of Materials Science and Engineering Program.

1 x Sir Rupert Myers Scholarship (UGCA1446)

  • Value: $5,000 pa
  • Duration: 4 years

1 x Sir Rupert Myers Award in Material Science and Engineering (UGCA1088)

  • Value: $5,000 pa
  • Duration: 4 years

1 x Surface Coatings Association Australia Award (UGCA1341)

  • Value: $5,000 pa
  • Duration: 1 year

Eligibility
To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must:

  • Be commencing full-time undergraduate study (single or dual degree) in the one of the following disciplines:
    • BE (Materials Science and Engineering Honours) (3131)
    • BE (Materials Science and Engineering Honours / B Eng Sci (Chemical Engineering (3132)
    • BE (Materials Science and Engineering Honours) / Biomedical Engineering (3133)
    • BE (Materials Science and Engineering / B Commerce (3134)

These Scholarships and Awards are automatically offered by UNSW based on Australian Year 12 results for students applying for admission via UAC commencing Term 1, 2019.
