The Business School Merit Scholarships aims to encourage students to undertake study in the Business School.

By applying for the Business School Merit Scholarships you may be considered for multiple scholarships.

  • Kosmos Asset Management Academic Achievement Scholarship in Economics (UGCA1383)
    • Value: $8,000
    • Duration: Up to 3 years
    • Program Requirement:Full-time study starting in Term 1 of their first year in one of the Bachelor degrees, listed below, offered by UNSW Business School:
      • Bachelor of Economics (3543)
      • Bachelor of Commerce/ Bachelor of Economics (3521)
      • Bachelor of Economics / Bachelor of Arts (3574)
      • Bachelor of Economics / Bachelor of Education (Secondary) (4058)
      • Bachelor of Economics/ Bachelor of Science (3563)
      • Bachelor of Economics/ Bachelor of Science (Advanced Maths) (Honours) (3564)
      • Bachelor of Economics/ Bachelor of Science (Advanced) (Honours) (3566)
      Students who are enrolling in the Bachelor of Economics/ Bachelor of Laws (BEc/LLB) (4744) and Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws (Bcom/LLB) (4733) are not eligible to be considered for the scholarships as these programs are offered by the Faculty of Law.
  • Lee Lau Shiu Hing Award in Accounting(UGCA1024)
    • Value: $5,000
    • Duration: 1 year only
    • Program Requirement: Full-time undergraduate study in the first year of the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting)(single or dual) degree.
    Eligibility

    To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must:

    • Be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
    • Be commencing full-time undergraduate study in the relevant Business School Program
    • Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB, either:
      • in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW, or
      • in the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period.
    Selection

    Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

    • Academic Merit
    • Enrollment into the relevant Business School Program
    Interviews
